Once you’ve cut out the center part where the tree will go, cut a line towards the outside of that “skirt” so that you can easily drape it around the base of the tree.. Can you guess the last step?.Get out the hot glue!

Seal up all your cuts with a line of hot glue so you don’t get any fraying.

As I said before, no one’s going to have their face that close to the base of your tree anyway.I just grabbed an ordinary box that was the right size..

I used a glue stick to attach a strip of fabric, wrapped a bit of twine, did a bit of stamping and that was it.. Oh look at that!You found my secret.

The “liner” is really just a piece of ribbon I stuck on there.. Oh well, I have just the right solution to cover this up….Who would have guessed?.
